Aihole is a very popular tourist spot in the Bagalkot district of North  Karnataka, Aihole is located  to the east of Pattadakal, along the Malaprabha River, and Badami is to the west of them. The spot is famous for temple ruins / complexes.

A group of three temples of aihole  is referred to as the Kontigudi group of temples. One of these is the Lad Khan temple(The oldest temple at Aihole is the Lad khan temple dating back to the fifth century), named after a mendicant that lived in this temple in the 19th century , another the Huchiappayyagudi temple and the Huchiappayya math.

THE GREAT SCENES..

We were so happy as there were no poojaries (The one who manages the temple) or anybody to control. we were so happy to play around the temple. there were a few kids around us, the village boys and girls. They were playing hide and seek around the temple.
