I.was at Gopichettypalayam This week, With My Friend Myl. Myl was Doing MCA with Me at GRD College, Coimbatore.Gobichettipalayam (often simply called Gobi) is a semi-rural community in the Erode District of Tamil Nadu state, India. Major part of present Gobichettipalayam was previously known as Verapandi Gramam, and more quondam documents and records still the same name.

Nambiyur is a panchayat town and Panchayat Union in Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The town named after a small ruler "Nambi", who is mentioned in one of the Eswaran Kovil stone carvings. Nambiyur is equipped with good bus service. It is well connected to Gobichettipalayam (18km-frequency:20 Mins), Coimbatore (72km-freq:30 mins), Sathyamangalam (20km-freq: 45 mins), Kunnathur (20km-freq: 1 hr), Tiruppur (35km-freq: 15 mins) and Punjai Puliampatti (19km-freq:30 mins) by road.

Manikutti , (Manickkavasahar Illam, Ayyepalayam, Kurumandur )  Was doing His MCA at GRD College, Coimbatore. We started from Coimbatore by Earlyl Morning . And moved to Nambiyur By Bus. Most of the Buses to Gopichettypalaym moves via Nambiyur But Not All. By 11 we reached Nambiyur. We had a round trip all over the place that day. I made a cycling Till Bhavani Sagar Dam (20 Kms)

Life at satyamangalam

Most of them at satyamangalam are farmers. They Cultivate Corn, Raggi, Flowers and More. Thanks to the Bhavani Sagar Dam, from where were water is supplied constantly for Irrigation, or else all these places must have been dry like deserts.

KODIVERY WATERFALLS

Kodivery waterfalls is an artifical falls near the Kodifery dam, on the way to Gobichettypalayam from Satyamanglam. The spot is 2 Km away from teh main road and the entrance charge is 3Rs.

There are a lot of lodges, but i prefer a  more comfortable stay at Coimbatore/ Selam

Many nationalised banks have theie ATMs at Gobi

Mobile

There was good fange for  all mobiles services in tamlnadu, But when we move out of town, it seems like airtel, aircel had better range

Bus Service

There are frequent bus servies to Satyamangalam (45Min), Coimbatore (Nearest Airport) (1.5 Hour) and Erode (Railway station) (1 Hour)
