This is the only lake in Oimbatore, which is tidy. There are many Lakes at coimbatore (Periyakulam, Valankulam Etc at Ukadam). This one is about 25 Kilometers away form Coimbatore city, aong Trichy road. The Lake is very easily Accessible from Coimbatore. There are townbuses to Sulur from Ukadam Bus Stand. You have to get down at Sulur and Walk less than 1 kilometer along the side road to reach the boating point of lake.
You are by own vehicle, You can move Along The trichy Road. and Head East. It is very easy to get into ths road (Everyone Know this road) from Avanashi or Palakkad Road.
